Road,Transport and Bridge Minister and Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader said closing the hospital was not a solution.
He said,“The news of the closure of the hospital due to lack of patients, came in the media. For various reasons, people have lost confidence on non-government hospitals.
Bring back confidence in people rather than closing the hospitals.”
Obaidul Quader made the call at a regular briefing at his official residence on Saturday.
If the corona is not reined in, the infection will reach a high level, experts said, adding that there was a recommendation to stop public transport. But the government has decided to continue the movement of public transport in compliance with the health rules. Public gatherings for the upcoming Eid should be avoided at any cost. He urged the transport owners not to abuse the government’s decision.
Obaidul Quader said, everyone should be very careful in their safety during the Eid journey. Maximum efforts should be made to maintain social distance in different places including Pashuhat-Launch-Bus-Train Station-Ferry Ghat-Shopping Mall. Masks must be worn.

Obaidul Quader wished peace to the souls of those who have died day and night in the service of the affected people to prevent and continue the treatment of corona infection, said Obaidul Quader.The country and the nation will always remember your sacrifice with respect. You inspire others to survive.

The general secretary of the government party called on the party leaders and workers to stand by the helpless flood victims.
