In 2020, Bangladesh ranks 46th out of 138 countries in the world in terms of military strength.

Global Military Strength Index (GFP), an international research firm, has listed the Military Strength Index on more than 50 criteria. Bangladesh is ranked 46th with a strength of 0.7066.

As always, the United States has maintained a top position in military power this year. Russia is in the second position. On the other hand, China is third and India is fourth.

Pakistan ranks 15th among South Asian countries in terms of military strength. Another neighboring country of Bangladesh, Myanmar is ranked 35th.

Bhutan, the South Asian country, ranks 138th out of 138 countries in terms of military strength.

According to the GFP, the list takes into account the number of military equipment in a country, as well as the diversity of military equipment.

The top 10 countries on the list are- 1. The United States, 2. Russia, 3. China, 4. India, 5. Japan 6. South Korea, 7. France 8. The United Kingdom, 9. Egypt, 10. Brazil
